Our sweet Emily's appendix burst last Tuesday and she has been in the hospital since. She was sick on Sunday, fever on Monday and in agony on Tuesday so I got her into the doctor in the morning. I thought it was a bladder infection. Turns out that was not the problem. We took her up to Primary Children's hospital and they got her into surgery. It went well, but she is a level 5 on a scale of rupture. There are lots of complications right now and we don't know how long she will be there. I will update more when I have time. Please pray for our sweet Emily to get better quickly.

That's awful! We'll pray for her. Hope she gets home soon and back to being a kid.
Emily and your whole family are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I know this is so hard on you and Robert. You are such a great mother and I know that Emily feels great comfort having you with her at the hospital.

That is so scary. My husband still remembers the day that his sister Erin had this happen. I hope she is doing okay now. We need an update!
